The Power of Deep Brain Stimulation and How to Use It to Transform Your Life

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Have you ever explored the concept of deep brain stimulation? The brain is very powerful; it is like the central processing unit of our bodies. Only the experts understand how it works, and they don't even fully grasp the concept. Thus, the brain is also very mysterious.

But we have also learned about techniques on how to penetrate the deeper, mysterious levels of the brain. One of these techniques is deep brain stimulation, a process that attempts to reach deep beyond our consciousness into the inner workings of the mind.

We are capable of understanding our thoughts and forming logical conclusions in our heads. But there is a huge part of our minds that we have no control over. This part usually applies its influences in random areas of our lives, whether we like it or not. And we find ourselves unable to control our own minds, our own habits, actions, behaviors, desires, fears, and decisions. These uncontrollable processes of the mind are all the works of the subconscious mind, a powerful state of consciousness that we have no access to and yet it has all the access to our life.

1. How to access the deep levels of the brain. The concept of deep brain stimulation is to stimulate the brain at that level: the subconscious level. But how can you reach that level when its gates are guarded by the conscious mind? Simple; by putting the conscious mind to sleep or in a trance so it will not block your way to your subconscious.

You can do this using different methods, such as:

? Brainwave entrainment
? Hypnosis
? Meditation

2. How to change the way the subconscious works. It is not enough to merely access the subconscious. Once you get there, how can you really change the way it is programmed?

There are now many subliminal products that are designed to apply this kind of stimulation and alteration on our brains. You can use:

? Videos
? MP3s/audio
? Downloads

These all use a single weapon: subliminal messages. These are messages hidden in the videos, MP3s, and other downloadable products used in deep brain stimulation. You can use the messages that you want to program into your head.

3. How to change the direction of your life. Deep brain stimulation is used to penetrate through our habits and actions so we can get rid of bad habits and change our actions from negative to positive. But do we really need to stimulate the brain every time we are tempted to do something negative?

The answer is no. There is a way to completely reprogram the mind to think in a more positive light so that it always goes to the positive direction, without the need for constant stimulation. This requires a total makeover of your mind's inner processes, a total renovation of the processes your mind undergoes when it is faced with a particular situation. This way, the overall direction of your life will also change.

The Three Key Elements of Success

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Success is that elusive thing that we all search for, in one form or another, at some point in our lives. Early on, we might measure success in terms of being popular in the playground, or top of the class. Later, we might have a hobby or sport we want to excel at. We might think we are successful if we have an attractive partner or lots of friends, material possessions or money in the bank. We might measure our own success through the results of others, like our children for example, or people that we help, teach and interact with.

However we measure success, the point is that we do all measure it and we strive to be successful in at least one area of our lives. You could even argue the point that people who really mess up in some way are actually successful. If you consider success to be the achievement of something desired, planned, or attempted, as defined in some dictionaries and they set out to fail, then in doing so they are successful - almost like anti-success!

So how can you ensure success, or at least give yourself the very best chance? After much study and deliberation, I would like to offer you a three step formula for success, giving you the three key elements you need to create your own success.

Mindset

The first thing you need in order to be successful is the right mindset and this can be broken down into three elements; belief, motivation and focus.

Belief

Regardless of what you are setting out to achieve, you need to believe two key things. One, that what you are attempting to do, be or have is possible - you may not know how initially and that is fine - and two, that it is possible for you. If you are constantly telling yourself that you can't have, do, or be what you want, for whatever reason, you are defeated before you begin. All you will construct is a self fulfilling prophecy where you fail.

Motivation

It is unlikely that you will find success immediately so you need to make sure you stay motivated. The best way to do this is to create some really compelling goals for yourself, which focus not upon anything you might want to have, but rather on what having that will give you. You should see money, for example, as a means to getting you the things you want, which will in turn make you feel x or y, or give you something truly beneficial, like more time to spend with your family. These are the kind of goals that will keep pulling you on towards them, when the going gets tough. They will keep you motivated and fuel your determination, because they are undeniably worth the effort taken to achieve them. What will having success in your chosen field give you?

Focus

The final component of a successful mindset is focus. Great goals will show the destination, focus will keep you on the road to get there. It's all too easy to allow yourself to be sidetracked and drawn to other things when the going gets tough, particularly if you spend anytime online. I call it magpie syndrome. If you find focussing difficult, break your day down into small parcels of time and assign a particular task for each one. Keep the time frame as short as you need to, to ensure you don't drift and schedule in break times too, so that you are not faced by indeterminable stretches of time, before you can look at that shiny web site you saw out of the corner of your eye!

The same goals that keep you motivated will also help you to focus, so keep a written record of them and read it daily. Make a dream board or journal, with images that signify success for you and look at them often. All these processes are designed to firmly embed what you are looking for in your unconscious mind, so that it knows what it has to work for and to take full advantage of the law of attraction. The energy from your thoughts will attract what you are thinking about, so make sure you are focussing on what you want and not what you don't want.

The second thing you need is a system and what differentiates this from the other two elements of my formula for success, is that it is external to you.

System

Again, I believe this can be best described in three parts. In order to create success you need a system which will give you the appropriate tools, direction and support.

Tools

The tools you need will depend on what area you are aiming for success in and you should find the most appropriate ones for you. This may consist of methodology and theory, or more practical physical tools. It may be that training or instruction is a useful tool for you if this is an area where you still have something to learn.

Direction

Unless you are a true pioneer, it is highly likely that someone else has been successful in your chosen area, so find them and learn from them. Why would you waste time, energy and perhaps money, making mistakes you could avoid? Once you have mastered the basics, by all means try something new, but to begin with, learn from someone on a similar path to you, who is further ahead than you! If you can, get yourself a mentor. Someone who is prepared to invest their time in your success too. You may well have to pay for this, but it will more than pay for itself in time saved and energy not wasted.

Support

When you embark on a new path, it can be lonely and when things don't go strictly to plan and success seems a bit further away than you would like, you need support. Again, a mentor can help with this, as they will understand where you are coming from and what you are going through. Friends and family, although often well intentioned, are not always great supporters! You might also find strength and help in meeting others on a similar path. By this I do not mean grouping together with other people who have failed to find success - this is guaranteed not to help!- but meeting people who are of a similar mindset to yours. Just to talk and share ideas can be really helpful. Ideally, look for a system which can offer you all three elements, to accelerate your journey to success.

Action

The final and most crucial element of this system for success is action. You need to be prepared to take action. More specifically you need to be prepared to take consistent, efficient and targeted action. Efficient because you need to make the best use of your time, energy and money, targeted because you need to make sure all of the above that you expend is in exactly the right area at that moment in time and consistent because the occasional burst is not going to do it for you. You need to give time and time again in order to create the success you want. The great thing is that the action you take, the effort you put in, will be in direct proportion to your results. More action = more success, faster! If you were to write it as an equation it would be Success = Action (Mindset + System).

If you are looking to create your own business online, or to turbo boost an existing business, whether you currently work online or not, you will need all of the elements described above if you are to make your business successful.

Think and Grow Rich Secret: Desire

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Desire means knowing what you want, and is the first principle of success in "Think and Grow Rich". You need to focus your attention and your minds energy like a laser beam onto what you desire the most, and the universe will respond in kind, with people, opportunities and seemingly random events that allow you to bring your desire to fruition-you just have to pay attention and catch it when it happens.

Here is where I'd like to make a clarification, or a caveat on what Hill is saying. Throughout this chapter, and the book, the desire for money is held up as being the most important thing, to the point of necessary obsession. And while I think that this is necessary, you must not lose sight of the reason why you want the money. If your intentions are good and pure, God and the universe will make this work for you, giving you what resources you need and want in such abundance, that all you can do is share them with others.

If your intentions are greed and avarice, you will get only the money, if that, and none of the happiness that it brings, and your life will remain empty. Money is not the ultimate goal, but merely a tool for achieving your ultimate goal...your definite major purpose. Think of money as fuel for driving your definite major purpose, be that with providing for your needs so you can pursue your purpose, or if your purpose requires a lot of capital to execute.

Also, merely wishing, hoping, or halfheartedly praying will not bring you riches, but merely diffuse your working energy into a thousand directions, reducing its impact. You have to have the desire, and your mind will work out a plan to achieve it through setting goals, and achieving these goals one at a time, ceaselessly, until you succeed.

Hill's formula for success is 6 parts, and this is very, very important, so don't skip this step:

1. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire.
2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire.
3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.
4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.
5. Write out a clear, concise statement of steps 1-4.
6. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read, see, feel, and believe yourself already in possession of the money.

At the end of the chapter, Hill describes a real world occurrence of success in his own son, who was born without ears. Hill desired to teach the boy to succeed none-the-less, and did, and filled the boy's heart with desire to succeed himself, and to hear. Eventually he did both, never believing that it wasn't possible. Thanks to the invention of a new type of hearing aid, and the boy's intelligence, he became a major success in life, and fulfilled his definite major purpose of helping others who could not hear to hear.

So with that inspiring story, I'm left wondering what my excuse has been this whole time, and I ask you, what is your excuse? We should use this example as fuel to get off our butts and do something important in our lives...not just for ourselves, but for others too.

Top Tips About Establishing A Business Successfully

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Are you frustrating about the failure of investment? Are you caring about the method of establishing a business successfully? In this article, I will share some important and necessary elements with you to build up a business. I wish that you would get something useful and meaningful from my article.

The experience of building up enterprise of Huang Yi in China was rather tough and difficult. He didn't know anything about business in the beginning when he went to Cheng Du, one of the city in Si Chuan Province. Nevertheless, he never gave up and made an effort to learn what he didn't know hardly. He succeeded finally and had his own big corporation. In terms of his success, I consider that there are several procedures and elements you need to keep in mind if you want to make a big fortune.

In the first place, you are supposed to select a right train of thought. It is fairly significant and important for a start-up to have a good train of thought. Let me give you several instances. You should take how to invest, which field to invest and how to market your products into consideration. All of those elements will decide the result of your career since they are the key factors of your career.

If you have a wrong train of thought and can not find out the potential of the market, the opportunity to succeed will be zero. You know what I mean, right? What I want to remind you is that you should have enough foresight to predict the potential commercial opportunities in the market. Something which is already fashionable can't be your selection. Calm down and analyze the situation of the market. Never make a determination in a hurry.

Secondly, you should execute the idea with strong power. I mean, it is necessary for you to carry out the schedule and category with guarantee. You see, a majority of people around the world have plenty nice and wonderful perspectives, however, they are not able to succeed in the end for the reason that they don't know how to convert good ideas into actions.

Thirdly, you are supposed to learn how to integrate resources around you. You are not the only person who want to succeed in the world, besides, the power of yourself is fairly limited. As a consequence, it is indispensable for you to borrow good resources from other people and realize your goals and dreams easier.

Fourthly, if you want to make your business successfully in the long run, don't focus much on the benefits you can get in the beginning of your business. Keep in mind that it is more important to pave a smooth way for the success you want to gain than get benefits as much as possible in the beginning.

When your business is becoming more and more stable and getting more and more popularity, you will get wealth and success in a fairly natural way. You will make a fortune by then, I promise.

Understanding Your Divine Purpose in Life

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Great things are done by people who have their purpose for being and relentlessly pursued it, with a determination and persistence that refuses to back down, cave in or quit. Success is not an accident. It is really produced by the application of certain principles Almighty God set long ago. These principles work for anyone who dares to walk in them and they have never been known to fail. They work for any age, gender, color or race. The beginning stage of these principles is discovering why you are here on planet earth. You were born for a purpose, and until you realize that purpose and pursue that, you will wonder aimlessly through this world, dissatisfied, unfulfilled, and, yes, even miserable. You may accumulate things which perish with the using. You may even be a billionaire. Yet within, you can be empty. The fulfillment of your Divine purpose is what brings fulfillment, not the mere external things which you possess. What possesses you? Things or your purpose?

Purpose literally means, the reason for a thing. You are here for a reason. And this reason was decided for you ages ago, by the Omnipotent God, Who made man and knows what it takes for you to feel satisfied and deeply fulfilled. As a matter of fact, when you discover this purpose and walk in it, you come to the realization that this was what you were created to be and to accomplish.
How can we discover this purpose? Here are a few things to consider:

1. God created you for a purpose. Only by walking in that Divine reason for being can you experience true peace, satisfaction and fulfillment.

2. You must discover the purpose of God for your life. Do not attempt to walk in someone else's purpose. It will not bring fulfillment to you. God made a plan just for you.

3. If you really want to know your Divine Purpose, go and ask the One Who created you for a Purpose. Ask God to reveal to you His plan for your life. If you are serious and ask Him with a pure heart, He will show you that plan. Deep on the inside, you will sense and have a knowing about what you are supposeed to be doing with your life.

4. When you discover that purpose, prepare yourself to fulfill it. Read books, go back to school if you have to, do what is required and necessary to develop your God-given gifts, talents and potential.

5. Ask God for His wisdom and help and create a plan or set goals, which lead to the realization of your Divine assignment. Planning and setting goals ia a must for any person who desires true success in anything.

6. Once you set your goals, pursue them. I did not say jump up and quit your job. This is why planning is so necessary. You must move in stages. And as things develop, if it is the Divine Purpose that you leave one job and embrace another or start your own business, as you walk the path, things will move you more and more into what you should be doing. If you stay with Almighty God, you will know what to do and when. Remember, wisdom is key.

Want to Succeed? Then Take the 7 Steps to Greater Authenticity!

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Sometimes goals and resolutions are empty and disembodied from our spirit and soul. No wonder they fail! Often they are not authentic; they are not true to who we are. If a goal is not something you fundamentally want, if it is not a decision made by your authentic self, you will be fighting yourself every step of the way; perhaps not consciously, but certainly on the levels of your deeper and higher self!

Goals and resolutions per se are not my topic today. Rather this article is about 7 steps to greater authenticity. I am proposing that authenticity is a prerequisite to setting your goals and making resolutions that you will actually accomplish. When you are authentic you open the door to "passionately riding the wave of who you are," which will make your pursuits more effortless and obstacles more surmountable. Personal authenticity and self awareness are not discussed often enough in relation to designing your goals, resolutions and choosing our life path. My experience has taught me that if you get authentic first, the rest falls more naturally into place. So greater authenticity will help you succeed at whatever you choose to pursue!

Here are the 7 steps:

1. Grateful Awareness: The first step is entering a calm and relaxed state of mind. Choose the method that works best for you, options include relaxation or visualization processes, self-hypnosis, or meditation. What is important is that you do this with the intention of clearing your mind, centering yourself, and connecting with your awareness in the present moment.

Then reflect on where you have been during your life journey so far and on where you are right now. Encourage and allow grateful awareness and appreciation for all you have learned and for all that is. Invite grateful awareness and accept and appreciate deeply where you are right now. Reflect with lightness, noticing your thoughts but letting them pass by rather than dwelling on them. What I am recommending in this first step is essentially a mindfulness state (as in mindfulness meditation) with the addition of some directed reflection; inviting grateful awareness, appreciation, and self-acceptance.

2. Reflecting on your beliefs: From the state of grateful awareness, reflect on the beliefs and values that direct your life. We all have beliefs and assumptions about who we are, what is possible, and the nature of reality. Often we do not take time to reflect on these beliefs or meanings, instead we take them for granted and don't question them. Our beliefs and meanings influence what we see, what we choose, what we know, and ultimately what we do. In this step simply notice what your beliefs and values are and appreciate the feeling of what is important to you, as this will help you make authentic choices.

3. Evaluating whether your beliefs serve you: In steps 1 & 2 you observed where you are now with grateful awareness and reflected on your current beliefs and values. In this step you evaluate whether or not your beliefs serve you. This step is often challenging! For many it is a new idea that they can choose their beliefs and that they can create meaning. Ask yourself whether or not your beliefs serve you. Are your beliefs helpful to you? What are you limiting beliefs? Do your beliefs hold you back or do they prime you for action? Evaluate where you are at right now. Don't just evaluate intellectually, also evaluate intuitively and notice what your gut is telling you.

Once you have done some work with these first three steps you will be more self aware and authentically centered. You will be more prepared to start thinking towards what is next and what you need to adjust to make the changes that you want in your life. Part of these first three steps is assessing whether you are ready for change. Are you centered enough? Can you feel some grateful awareness? Are your meanings positive enough? Do they serve you? Also how does it resonate with you? Is your spirit ready for change? When your spirit is ready for change, change becomes much easier, growth becomes easier, and achieving your goals becomes easier.

4. Appreciate possibility: Appreciate the possibility that the beliefs you have, if they do hold you back, can be different. Imagine what beliefs would serve you better in your life and what beliefs would direct you toward a more authentic future. Appreciate that you can change your beliefs! Appreciate the possibility that some of your values are really not so important compared to your higher values. Consider what ifs. What if I believed in myself? What if I believed that I was capable of anything? What if I believed that I know what to do to take the next step? What if I confidently believed that I have talents to offer to help people and make the world a better place? Appreciate possibility and embrace the options that emerge. Do you have beliefs that allow you to boldly pursue what you really want, among the possibilities you are imagining?

5. Trust yourself: Without some degree of authentic self-awareness you cannot truly trust yourself. You need to trust yourself and have some faith in yourself to let go of old patterns, habits, and beliefs. Because many do not trust themselves they choose the status quo rather than possibility. The unfortunate fact is that many people are comfortable with the way things are even if they are miserable! The hell they live is not as bad as the hell they fear. Since they do not trust themselves fear wins and they never change paths or progress toward their dreams. To authentically make changes, follow through with resolution, and pursue goals you need to trust yourself. (The exceptions to this include changes made out of desperation and the drive to survive physically or psychologically.) You need to trust your capabilities and your ability to make good decisions. You need to trust your purposes and intentions enough that they compel you! Your purpose and intention need to resonate with your spirit, with who you are-trust that! But aren't there degrees of trusting yourself? Absolutely, and that's okay! Sometimes trusting yourself enough is a leap of faith; jump!

6. Energy focusing: Focusing your energy is the next step. Once you centered yourself with beliefs and values that serve you, have begun to appreciate your possibilities, and have increased your trust in yourself you are ready to direct your energies. Through this process your energy has been shifting already. Your energy is stronger because your beliefs and values are clear, you know they serve you, and the possibilities you can imagine are compelling now. It is time to direct your energy congruently with your intentions. Decide how to utilize your energy toward the steps you want to make to move you toward your goals and your dreams.

7. Resource appreciation and development: We all need resources to achieve what we aspire for. These include your life experience, strengths, talents, personal qualities, and the support of others. Notice and appreciate who you genuinely are and what you have to offer! If you don't have all the resources that would help you yet direct your energy toward developing, enhancing and enriching your resources. Trust your instincts. If you need knowledge, learn more. If you need a coach, find a coach. If you need a healer, find a healer. Determine your action steps and trust yourself to know where best to put your energies. Realize that resource development is a step by step process and that every step is movement toward your future!

Practicing these seven steps to greater authenticity prepares you for setting your goals and making resolutions that you will actually accomplish. After you have explored all them genuinely at least once, appreciate what have discovered. You will likely feel more balance and strength. You are now ready to resolve to change and choose to move forward with your life with clarity! Often an unrecognized part of going for goals and making changes is preparation. When preparation is in place, things fall into place. You need the pieces of the puzzle in order to complete the puzzle. As your authentic self you can have all the pieces!

When you are aligned you are also more apt to do what will move you forward and attract the support that you need from other people and from the universe. With greater authenticity you have much more potency and direction. This will also open doors to creativity and the capacity to make substantial changes and to really be successful in your life!

In summary, GREATER is an acronym for the seven steps to authenticity. I like acronyms; I find them fun, useful, and easy to remember.

G = Grateful awareness.

R = Reflecting on your beliefs.

E = Evaluating whether your beliefs serve you.

A = Appreciating possibility.

T = Trusting yourself.

E = Energy focusing.

R = Resource appreciation and development.

I hope you embrace your authentic self, make aligned resolutions, design effective goals, and have a fulfilling and abundant life!

What Does Harmony Have to Do With Success?

Posted by on | | 0 comments

If a couple are not in harmony with their goals and desires then the conflict between the two will sabotage each of their goals and dreams. Only when a couple is willing to sit down and discusses each other's hopes and dreams and work on accepting each other's aims in life will there be harmony in the household and relationship.

This harmony will work wonders and increase each of their chances to succeed. Being in harmony with each other will support each other; there will be no need to hid your goals and plans, or worry about what the other may think or say about what you are attempting.

This works both ways you must each accept the other's hopes and dreams and ONLY offer advice when sought, do not offer your advice unless asked, to do so will come across as trying to take control. The ONLY time you should offer any type of advice is if Danger is involved to the other.

If you do OFFER advice, make sure you say upfront that, "This is ONLY a suggestion, but you may want to CONSIDER this," then state what you FEEL may be trouble coming. After stating your position reinforce that this is ONLY your OPINION and that you THOUGHT that they may want to CONSIDER this information, but no matter what you will SUPPORT THEIR decision.

Harmony is as very important in the food you supply to the body by what you choose to eat. "Garbage in, Garbage out," is a very popular and true saying. If you feed your body junk on consistent bases then it will have a negative impact on your health and in the end your life and success.

Be careful on what you choose to eat, poor choices in what you eat will make you feel tired, sluggish and rob you of the health and energy you need to succeed in life. Pick up a good book on proper nutrition and make meals that are good for you. Eating healthy does not involve eating bad tasting or tasteless food; there are many great tasting dishes that are good for you.

Eating correctly and enjoying treats and alcohol in moderation will keep the body and brain healthy and working in complete harmony. Together the body and brain will be able to properly identify and eliminate disease and keep you young and full of energy.

Harmony in your environment is also important, how you interact with those you work with, how you perceive your job and the decisions you make on a daily basis. If you work with people you don't like or a job you don't like do little things to try and change your environment.

First make little changes in your work area that you can do that will make it more pleasant; try to see how you can use your current job as a stepping stone to something better. As for the people you don't like, make an effort to avoid them and be polite to them. Tell yourself that you feel sorry for them that they are so unhappy that they have to be so mean and rotten.

Begin to create a world of harmony around you, create a more friendly and loving relationship with your spouse; start eating better a little more each day and only enjoy treats on the weekends; make small adjustments in your attitude towards your job and those you work with.

Little changes made each day, changes in your viewpoint and the way you look at things, will make big difference in the months and years to come.

Only you make yourself happy or unhappy, successful or unsuccessful, so why not chose to do the things that will have a positive effect instead of those that have a negative effect. You chose; don't let others destroy the harmony that you need to succeed. Create your own world of harmony and keep yourself in that world always.

Who Is Truly Ignorant?

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Who is the ignorant one; the person being called ignorant or the person doing the calling? How does someone believe they are more intelligent than those they call ignorant? Do they decide it by a piece of paper they hold in their hands? Do they believe themselves smarter and better because of the education they have and the people they know and associate with?

There was a president of a local college that inherited a large piece of land that he believed was nearly worthless. It had no timber to speak of, no minerals to mind, poor soil and couldn't be farmed; it was only an expense in the form of taxes paid on it every years.

One day an "uneducated" man was driving through the property on the highway that the state build through it when he noticed how the property was set nicely atop of a mountain offering a wonderful view for miles around; he also took notice of the many small pine trees and samplings on the property.

The "uneducated" man purchased fifty acres of the property for $10 an acre in the early 1900s; near the highway the man built a log hose with a large dining room. Near the house he constructed a gas station and along the road he built a dozen single-room log houses. The log houses he rented out to the people in the near-by city that wanted to get away for the weekend.

The following year he build fifty more log homes with 3 rooms each which all rented out during the summer to the people from the local city. The building material cost him nothing as he used the trees on the property to build the log homes.

The unique design of the rustic log homes that many would complain having as a permanent home was desired for weekend getaways and served to enhance the advertisement of the resort.

So much for being worthless as a well educated college president believed it to be. So who truly was the educated person here; the college president with the PhD or the "uneducated" man that turned something "worthless" into something extremely valuable?

This same "uneducated" man, not more than five miles away, purchased what the original owner believed to be a worked-out farm for $25 an acre (remember we are talking early 1900s here) which the owner thought was a high price to pay for the farm.

This "uneducated" man built a dam on the property and flooded 15 acres of land, stocked it with fish, and sold off lots for building summer lake homes; he accomplished this project all in one summer.

Isn't it amazing how this man is thought of as "uneducated" and the college president thought of as educated; who would you rather be? Personally I'd rather have the insight and skills of the "uneducated" man over the college president.

Education is not in the books, colleges and universities; it's not measured in the number of pieces of paper you hold saying you are intelligent; education is measured by the skill you have to succeed with the knowledge you possess and in the ability for you to use the knowledge those around you posses in ways that produce success and profit.

Your Desire For Success

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Desire is a starting point of any achievement. To achieve anything big you have to start with a desire for that. Everyone who achieved something important had a strong and clear desire for that achievement. This is not some kind of a hope, neither a wish, it is a definite, strong and clear desire which doesn't waver or disappear over time.

If you have a dream you want to turn into reality, start with desire for your ultimate goal, learning and experiencing anything necessary. You must eliminate the lack of ambition and laziness. A lot of people had experienced hard times before they actually achieved their goal. It is important to learn from failures and keep on going. There is nothing you can not overcome as long as you believe in positive outcome.

The most difficult times can sometimes bring you the knowledge and experience that you usually wouldn't get from anywhere. When you form your desire you have to turn it into a faith. You are not ready to progress unless you do it. It takes some effort to do all of this, but know that creating misery and wealth require the same effort. Life is ready to deliver to you what you seek for, you just have to ask for it.

When you have a burning desire for something, you are capable of doing almost anything to make it happen. If you keep it grow, it will turn into faith. As long as you hold it in your mind it has a bigger potential to manifest in your life. When you develop a habit of doing this and when you learn from your own experiences, you will go beyond your former goals and evolve. Even the harder times might come, but you still have the knowledge to eliminate any barriers and move toward success.

These were a few tips and advices that I recommend you to implement as soon as possible. I hope you found this information interesting and useful so that you can constantly learn more and move yourself a little bit closer to your goal. The content provided above comes from my experience and its intention is to expand your awareness and help you gain more knowledge and your own experience.

Self-Improvement Tips To Help You Get On The Road To Success

Posted by on | | 0 comments

When you work on improving yourself, you are taking steps toward becoming a success. So how do you start on self-improvement in order for you to become successful? Below are some tips you can keep in mind and try applying on your day-to-day life.

Self-Improvement Tips

1. You're not a failure, so stop thinking and feeling you are one. Sure, you may have failed at a lot of things in your life, but that does not mean there is no hope for you. There is no rule saying you cannot try again. For every failure, consider it a step toward success -- because you've eliminated one thing you shouldn't do when you try something out again.

2. Accept yourself for who you are. After all, if you don't even like yourself, how can you accept others to do the same? Know your limitations, but at the same time, try to find ways to be a better you.

3. Stop the self-pity. Stop comparing yourself to other people. Stop putting yourself down, especially when you see someone attractive -- perhaps they're much thinner, more beautiful than you. There are always going to be people who are more beautiful, richer, and better than you but you know what? That does not necessarily make you less of a person. Concentrate on being a good person inside, and that inner beauty is going to project itself outwardly.

4. Be the person who lifts others who are down. Don't bring others down, and at the same time, try not to be pulled down by others. If you have a friend who seems to be always down about herself, cheer her up and try to build her up. Don't let her negativity affect you; otherwise, you'll both end up feeling inferior.

5. Look at the world as your classroom where you can learn from your mistakes. Just because you didn't pass that job interview doesn't mean you're forever doomed. Analyze what went wrong during the interview. Could you have answered questions better? Could you have presented yourself a little more professional? You'll know not to commit job interview mistakes the next time around.

6. Understand that you aren't going to be better at something in a snap or things are going to improve overnight. Things take time. If you want to improve yourself, take it one step at a time.

7. Learn to set goals that are not only meaningful, but are also achievable. Break down those goals into smaller goals and then work on them each day.

8. Don't dismiss the small things you can do to others. Often those small acts of kindness can mean the whole world to others. Take the time to thank the people who make your life a little easier each day -- the mail delivery person, the newsboy, the taxi driver, the baker, the janitor at your building, your neighbor. Don't hold back on the compliments. Make it your goal to make at least one person smile each day.

Six Commonly Ignored Laws Of Success

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Success, the achievement of desired objectives, the accomplishment of set goals, victory over the competition and or triumph over enemies is one of the driving forces of life. In the search of success, men and women have ruined their lives and obtained the exact opposite of their desires and pursuits largely because of lack of knowledge. There are laws or secrets of success in every endeavor of life. Even on a general note, there are laws or secrets that govern living a successful life.

The challenge of man is learning and applying these laws in their daily life. Here are some of the laws of success that have been largely ignored. These laws are, however, immutable and therefore, should not be ignored.

Integrity - Integrity also means honesty, truthfulness, honor, uprightness and reliability. Integrity is a major hallmark of the successful. Without being judged honorable and reliable by those you do business with, it is difficult to maintain their support, loyalty and patronage. You may succeed in getting a few things by deceit, but it would remain a few things. Those things obtained by deceit or dishonorable ways would also go with the wind. Integrity is so critical to success in life that it is even required to be able to sustain success after it has been achieved.

Discipline - In this contest, discipline also means order, restraint, obedience, authority, self-control, regulation and strictness. The opposite of discipline is chaos. Nothing can be achieved in a state of chaos. Orderliness is required for the creation, development and sustenance of any endeavor or project. Success itself has a power component. Obedience has a direct correlation to power. It takes discipline to be obedient to established authority, to control ones emotions, temperament and follow regulation. It takes self-control to resist the temptations brought to us be our appetites and passions. It takes discipline to avoid debt and shameful acts. It takes discipline to rise after a fall.

Chastity - The law of chastity states that sexual intercourse and all the associated activities are reserved for a legal and lawful marriage state. Sexual intercourse between a man and woman who are legally and lawfully wedded is ordained of God. To be chaste means to be pure, innocent, uncorrupted, virtuous, unblemished, unsullied, spotless, and faithful. These virtues support success in life. When someone is chaste, he or she is open to receive inspiration and guidance from the ultimate source of all knowledge, even the Spirit of God.

Tithing - A tithe is one tenth of one's income, salary, increase, or profit contributed to a Church or any organization from which one draws spiritual strength. The law of the tithe was first brought to the knowledge of the world by the Judeo-Christian scriptures. Tithing which is the payment of one tenth of one's income to a religious or spiritual organization is a proven law of success. It is one of the mostly ignored laws of success. Those who are tithed can feel the peace and freedom that comes from giving. They open up the opportunity to receive more according to the laws of nature. Personal experiences have shown that this law is unfailing.

Sabbath Day Observance- The law of the Sabbath requires that people observe a day of rest in the week during which they would offer their oblations, devotion and service to their creator. It is a day to study and apply the principles taught in the scriptures. Those who observe the law of the Sabbath are blessed with opportunity to rise to places importance in their communities and organizations. They are blessed with resources to feed themselves and their children.

Fast Offering - This is an offering made by religious adherents for providing for the poor and needy in the Society. In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, members who are healthy and can are encouraged to observe a day of fast once a month. Those who fast go without food, drink and other pleasures for the period of two meals a day, usually from 6am to 6pm on the chosen day. Fasting is a period of prayer and devotion to God. It used by people in need to focus on pleading for help from the infinite source of all powers - the Creator. Fast offering is paid by quantifying the value of two meals and donating it to appropriate priesthood authority that receives and administers it for use of the poor and needy. Those who pay past offering are givers and givers never lack what they need.

These laws have been proven by experience to work in all conscious and unconscious experiments. Try them and see for yourself.

Social Skills For Success

Posted by on | | 0 comments

It is true that success can be most easily achieved by making friends with the right people. If you can earn the trust of those in high positions, or even those who know people in high positions, you can quickly find yourself occupying a high position. When you use good social skills, whatever needs come up in the course of life, you can find the best possible help for meeting those needs.

So empowering yourself can simply be a matter of finding and forming relationships with a variety of people who have a variety of powers. You can achieve the things you want to achieve, while becoming a more socially adjusted individual. So how do you get started on the path to social power?

1. Be Honest

Some with naturally overwhelming social skills can get by with putting on disingenuous fronts. For the rest of us, forming social bonds requires learning to be truly honest about who you are and taking an honest interest in others. Hypocrites are social outcasts.

2. Learn to Listen

It is interesting that people tend to be more trusting of those with whom they've shared things about themselves than they are of those of whom they know much. So sit and listen. If you speak, do so only to receive more information from the speaker. Use your eyes to convey your interest.

3. Laugh Loudly

Laughing may catch people off guard at first, but light hearted people do better socially. You don't have to laugh at everything, just jokes.

4. Don't Be a Pushover

In the course of this experience you must also convey a powerful sense of self. If you value self, so will others. Carry yourself as worthy of respect.

5. Do Kind Things

Go out of your way to do kind things, particularly the small kind things. Old-fashioned politeness is a lost art that can bring with it great social rewards.

6. Don't Lose Touch

It was once difficult to keep in touch with old friends. Only the most socially motivated among us could succeed at this. Now days, there is so much social networking stuff on the Internet that it is more difficult to lose contact with people. Just remember to take the time to send a note or say hello to everyone now and then.

7. Portray a Positive Personality

If you're a grouch, you don't do anything but bring people down. People are attracted to those who make them feel good.

8. Display Social Confidence

Start encounters with a smile. Don't wait for people to come to you. Go introduce yourself to them. This shows both confidence and humility at the same time.

9. Have Emotional Control

You don't have to react to your anger. You don't have to throw fits. Be the calm person in a room. Use your anger to help you do productive things. People are not attracted to people with unpredictable or violent mood swings.

10. Stay Focused on Your Relationships

It is not simply enough to form a relationship. You must actively take steps help them grow. Take time for people. Make them feel important. Show each person that they matter to you and that you're there for them in times of need. As a result, they'll want to be there for you.

Success - 3 Ways People Become Successful

Posted by on | | 0 comments

All you have to do is turn on the TV and see images of people that everyone believes is successful. These people range from athletes, TV personalities, movie stars, business owners, and the like. You may have found yourself looking at them and wondering how they became successful and is there a way for you to do it also. I'm happy to say that you can be successful as well and here are 3 ways to do so.

Success Tip 1

Most successful people have a living, breathing drive inside of them that can't be put out. They are so determined, focused, and confident that they are going to succeed that it becomes contagious. Only people that have this drive, and keep it, will have long term success in their lives. So if you find yourself just wondering around in life without much drive, then find the deepest desire of your heart and give your life to achieving it. Once the determination is there, amazing doors will start to open for you.

Success Tip 2

Successful people are normally successful in one thing. This is not an accident. Truly successful people know that to reach the top of their game, they have to become experts in one area of life. If they can dominate one area and know it better than 95 percent of everyone else, they will be very successful at what they do. To do this for yourself, you need to find what you are strongest at and develop it to its fullest. This won't happen overnight but the more you develop your strength, the more success you will see.

Success Tip 3

This is something that most people don't like but it's called 'process'. If you ever talk to someone you believe is successful, ask them about process. You will soon find that the most successful people on this earth understand and appreciate process. They know that things don't happen instantly and that there has to be a plan and a process to things to truly be successful. They know that instant gratification is just a myth. Stat to apply process to your life and will see miracles.

Success - Can You Achieve It?

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Success is something that most of us want to have. But, what are the parameters that demarcate it? What leads us to name somebody a success? Are some people a lot more susceptible to success? For example, groups who have master numbers in numerology, are these people more successful than others are? Are they better than the rest of us in any way?

Success is among the most private things the world over and how you see it is not necessarily likely to be how someone else sees it. When you're looking for success, the first thing you have to do is to make sure you have a good idea of what success is to you. Do not let what other groups say influence your idea of what success is. Your success is going to be your own and it should be meaningful to you.

To start, you must list down a lot of the targets, that when reached, will make you feel successful. For example, one of your plans could comprise having your own house when you are in your 30s. Success to you might also stand for being able to finish all of the pending projects that you have. Success could involve getting to the top of your company's hierarchy by your 10th year in the company. It can also involve something that is a bit more peculiar, perhaps something like traveling across the world.

Do not be afraid to set some objectives. Just guarantee those goals are sensible and that they are achievable and time oriented. Setting such parameters for your goals are gonna help make them much easier to get hold of. Keeping objectives practical also helps to add to making them a great deal more doable. Success - Definition and Meaning of Measurements in Success As Measured by Society - Part I

Posted by on | | 0 comments

success [s?k's?s]
n
1. the favourable outcome of something attempted
2. the attainment of wealth, fame, etc.
3. an action, performance, etc., that is characterized by success
4. a person or thing that is successful
5. Obsolete any outcome

By definition of success, as mentioned in a dictionary, success is a favorable outcome of something attempted. But the question than bows down to what a favorable outcome really is. Many people search their whole lives in an attempt to understand and achieve success in everything that they do.

A mother may feel successful the moment her child gets married and have children of his own. A man feels successful once he has reached his wealth target. A woman might feel successful when she first finds out that she is going to get married or got her job of her dreams.

Success in measurement is a very self-realization state which we go through constantly through the adaptations of our society and how we live towards our surroundings. What a human feels as successful in the year 2010 and what he or she deems successful in the year 2050 is subjective to each one's own definition.

I have dedicated my whole life through being born and growing up; trying to realize and understand what is the meaning to actually being successful. Is it to be a superstar? Achieve a mega-wealthy status level? Meet the woman of my dreams? Have a family? Through understanding the philosophies of others and living through what they actually see the world as through their eyes in successful people, I have finally understood what success means through my terms and my own measurements.

It all boils down to just four words.

To survive and replicate.

Without survival, there is no life.

We as living things only strive to survive. That is all. What we deem as "success" is in fact a measure of how one is able to survive comfortably and replicate successfully in the current eyes of society dominated by people with capabilities to be conscious of their surroundings.

How do you measure the amount of success one has in terms of survivability and replication value?

3 Measurements and Vital Points
1. Love
2. Wealth
3. Health

Summary

In order to fully understand consciously what these 3 aspects mean in full, I am unable to delve and go through what they mean in such a short article, this article will be split into different parts, in me doing my utmost best to try to explain what these 3 areas are and how they affect your life. Understanding consciously what we do and how react in society brings us to a whole new level of how the way we do things. That applied towards my life, and I do hope that it will apply to yours as well.

Stay tuned for more updates on articles relating to this subject, this is part I of a mini-article series I am doing and I will bring more in the next few days to come.

Success Is the Inner Game

Posted by on | | 0 comments

How many people do you know who by the usual standards should not be successful at something and yet they are? How many colleagues have you observed who worked the same hours, managed similar projects and overall appeared to do the same, and yet their career sky-rocketed while others remained in the same position for many more years? What is that special something that determines that one person will become mediocre and the other one will be a huge success?

If you are guessing the strength of the desire, you are getting close. Indeed, we all know people whose desire for something was so strong, that there was nothing in this world that would stop them. However, this desire needs to be coupled with a sheer determination and an unwavering commitment. I have a friend who went through 9 consecutive IVF treatments in order to have a baby. Her position was: I will keep going until it happens. No other option existed for her. If you really want to succeed at something, this is the level of desire, determination and commitment you need to possess. "I will not stop until I get there", needs to be your mantra.

However, in order to succeed but not get exhausted in the process, there are a few things to remember. Firstly, be sure that you invest your commitment and determination into something that really is your true desire. If that is the case, all your efforts will be easy. You will "enjoy the ride" and the results will come faster.

Another, equally important, step is to be able to "detach" yourself from the outcome. If your desires don?t come through by the time you wanted in the form you expected, don?t give up. Instead, relax into "when" and "how" and keep expecting your desire will be fulfilled soon.

Most importantly, behave as if the success you so want has been achieved long ago and now you are already in the phase of "living it". When you sincerely act as if success is your middle name, it is only a question of time before it becomes so.

Success Recognizes No Substitute for Hard Work

Posted by on | | 0 comments

Success and business literature is full of recognition for the need for "execution" and "performance". These are other words for good old fashioned hard work. As important as a definite purpose is, goals are, planning is and focused thought, nothing happens without the hard work. Let's look at who have worked hard for success and what they have to teach us.

Most of the most successful people in history attained success through hard work. The so called captains of industry who built the great engine companies of the 19th and 20th centuries did so through consistent hard work. All the great inventors "discovered" the greatest inventions through unrelenting hard work. Nothing about that has changed today.

Successful people work hard

Bill Gates built Microsoft from a tiny start up to the world's most successful corporation through hard work. In his early days especially he would work for hours, often all night long, to build the software giant into what it is today. The same can be said for all the other successful businesses on and off the web today.

There is no substitute for hard work. - Thomas Alva Edison

Thomas Edison is often quoted as saying that genius is 2% inspiration and 98% perspiration. He would often work around the clock, stopping only for occasional short naps, for days on end. From his work we were given what was at the time considered the magic of Menlo Park - the light bulb, the phonograph, etc. While he did not create all these things alone and had a legion of men to help him they all worked long and hard to bring these magical inventions to our homes.

It is entirely possible to earn a decent living and only work 40 hours a week. Those who are satisfied to be mediocre will work even less and spend more time on coffee breaks than on solid performance. However those who wish to truly accomplish something quickly learn that there is no substitute for hard work.

To accomplish great things requires great work

Our greatest Presidents have been extremely hard workers. Thomas Jefferson worked 12 or more hours each day and personally penned thousands of documents. He became proficient as an inventor, surveyor, agriculture scientist, architect, politician and statesman. He observed: "I'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it."

Likewise Abraham Lincoln would work from early in the morning often until late at night. Others marveled at his capacity to work so hard, to focus so intently and to work so long.

Theodore Roosevelt was a dynamo. He worked all day long at whatever job he was on and then wrote much of the night penning many books and magazine articles. For long portions of his life he supported his family by writing hundreds of thousands of words.

Successful business people have long understood the importance of hard work. The founder of a great retail empire observed, J. C. Penney, Unless you are willing to drench yourself in your work beyond the capacity of the average man, you are just not cut out for positions at the top.

The founder of Walmart likewise spent a lifetime of hard work often putting in 18 hour days to build what is now the largest retail empire in the world.

How hard do you need to work? The answer is actually easy. You must work as hard as is necessary to accomplish what you seek to accomplish. The more you want to achieve the harder you must work. You decide the price you wish to pay. No one however should expect to achieve much without plenty of hard work.
