IMPORTANT NOTE: What sets our library apart from any other is we have pains-takingly spent hundreds of hours specifically on the feature base to make your experience the most rewarding. Our philosophy is that if it’s going to be in electronic format, it ought to include and utilize all the features that an electronic format should provide. One such feature is cross-reference linking. Many other scripture collections don't have links where there ought to be. When studying in a hardcopy version of the scriptures and coming to footnote references, you must take the time to flip through pages to go to the footnote reference. Sometimes this even requires opening a separate book. One of the best features of this collection is the extensive cross-reference linking throughout the entire library. This collection is fully equipped with the complete Scripture footnotes, Topical Guide, Bible Dictionary, Index, Guide to the Scriptures, and more. Unlike many other collections, as you study in this edition, you will see hundreds of thousands of links through out the Scriptures and other works. Simply select the links to follow to their respective locations whether it be a footnote to the Topical Guide or to another Scripture references. Also, the scripture references that appear in the other works (manuals, commentaries, etc.), are linked back to the scriptures. ‘See also’ topics in the Topical Guide, Bible Dictionary, Index, Guide to the Scriptures, True to the Faith and other such reference works are linked to there respective locations.

"The New Oxford Annotated Bible with Apocrypha: New Revised Standard Version, College Edition" Overview

The premier study Bible used by scholars, pastors, undergraduate and graduate students, The New Oxford Annotated Bible offers a vast range of information, including extensive notes by experts in their fields; in-text maps, charts, and diagrams; supplementary essays on translation, biblical interpretation, cultural and historical background, and other general topics.
Extensively revised--half of the material is brand new--featuring a new design to enhance readability, and brand-new color maps, the Annotated Fourth Edition adds to the established reputation of this essential biblical studies resource. Many new and revised maps, charts, and diagrams further clarify information found in the Scripture text. In addition, section introductions have been expanded and the book introductions present their information in a standard format so that students can find what they need to know. Of course, the Fourth Edition retains the features prized by students, including single column annotations at the foot of the pages, in-text charts, and maps, a page number-keyed index of all the study materials in the volume, and Oxford's renowned Bible maps. This timely edition maintains and extends the excellence the Annotated's users have come to expect, bringing still more insights, information, and perspectives to bear upon the understanding of the biblical text.
